Relationships are incredibly important in life. So much of the pain and hurt that people experience is centered around relational brokenness.  This brokenness can lead to depression, anxiety, substance use, etc. as a way to try and deal with pain.  I work to help people understand the complex difficulties they are facing and to focus on the core of the problem. We will work on establishing healthy connections and relationships and work to find new strategies to deal with pain in life.

In most cases, long-lasting growth and change takes time. People are not like computers that can simply be reprogrammed to function differently.  In fact, even the ineffective strategies that we use most likely worked at some time in the past—otherwise we wouldn’t have started using them in the first place!  In therapy, we will work together to relieve the distress that you are facing, while keeping in mind that long-standing change often involves consistent effort and work to make enduring changes.

Whatever your struggles might be, you don’t need to face them alone.
