"First things first, I personally know how daunting it can be to find a therapist. I want to acknowledge the effort it has likely taken to come to this point. Well done.
When we are in the midst of suffering and pain, it can really feel as though there is nowhere to go. That stuckness can feel defeating and make reaching out for help feel all the more difficult. I think about therapy as the act of walking alongside my patients and bearing witness to the parts of themselves/their stories that are the most painful and hardest to face. When someone else can come alongside us, when we feel seen and understood, we grow our capacity for holding the pain along with the joy in life. Therapy is the place where all the discomfort, pain, and darkness that feels overwhelming can be processed, meaning can be made, and healing can happen. I am passionate about not only helping clients through their painful seasons, but also discovering together what a thriving life looks like and bringing that into reality. This idea might feel exciting, or that might feel too contrary to your experience to feel possible, and I can hold that hope for the both of us.
Because the therapeutic relationship is so important to therapeutic work, it is of the utmost importance that you feel comfortable, known, and ultimately safe with your therapist. To see if we would be a good fit, I am happy to chat virtually or over the phone for a 15 min consultation. "
